A student’s view of how CES helps Kenyans succeed
Education has evolved into a basic human right. It's a transformative lever that has alleviated perjury for massive numbers of hungry souls. Education has harnessed accession of skills, proficiency, morals and discerning of our rights.
To us, the Community Education Services alumni, climbing the pedagogy ladder seemed impossible due to the financial constraints and humble background we're birthed into. However, it became a walkover once CES chipped in as our Savior. Most of us are now in tertiary institutions spreading wings to achieve our desired dreams while others are in job fields reaping what they sowed. As result, we have opportunity to chill with the rich men's daughters and sons at the same table and exchange ideas.
Education has increased our societal production in terms of development; people can differentiate between virtues and vices by applying their knowledge. This has promoted patriotism in citizens. It has enabled the CES alumni to get livelihoods for themselves and their immediate families. Through their earnings, their living standards are inflated.
Moreover, the virtue of giving back has been instilled as we have initiated a supportive program where we raise fees for one bright needy student every year. We desire to support more students and put a smile on their faces at the end of their tenure, but we're limited due to shortage of resources. Education has ensured equity and order as people behave accordingly, abiding by the set laws and regulations.
Education being a passport to the future, having a spark in the midst of darkness of destitution rekindles lost hope and saves dreams at the verge of breaking. CES Kenya has been an epitome of restoring fading ambitions for most needy students, and how grateful l am to be part of those salvaged. All the alumni are indebted for the help we've been offered, and much thanks to our donors and sponsors for their kindness and generosity.
My hope is to see CES grow to greater heights and continue saving more bright suffering souls clinging to education as the only key to change their story. It's only through education that their families can tap good healthy life.
Kenya is among the less developed countries with a greater percentage of the population rolling in poverty. Lending a hand to the young generation is the only possible solution to eradicate the nightmare. However, lack of school fees limits most of them from accessing education, denying them a chance for a good life. This means people end up living lives without dignity, stuck in poverty, and the cycle continues roving their generations.
Community Education Services has promoted families by offering support to their kids. It's my desire that our charitable donors continue raising funds for our organization and remedy more families, bringing children from wrecked life to worthful life, which will enhance growth and development of society.
